We are looking for a social media / content marketer to lead our external organic social channels and content development, building a consistent brand voice across all media. Reporting into either the Communications Lead, the successful candidate will develop and maintain a strong brand voice across all channels, manage and execute a consistent content calendar, and build our external community. This person will be an ambitious self-starter, not afraid to roll up their sleeves, and excited to join a fast-growing and increasingly global company and help build our investor and entrepreneur communities. 

 

What you’ll do

This is a great role with scope for personal and professional growth. Overall, you will bring product marketing excellence to Seedrs as we scale, helping us build a lifecycle approach to all new and existing products. Underpinning this will be a data-driven focus on reporting and optimisation to effectively measure marketing impact on product performance and driving an iterative, test and learn approach to scaling efforts. You’ll also bring a strong interest in entrepreneurship and a desire to work in the Financial Services sector, empowering investors to invest in early-stage, high growth companies. 

You will: 

  • Set the Seedrs brand voice on all organic social media channels 
  • Build and engage our external community, growing both followers and follower engagement
  • Create and execute a content strategy that drives to our company goals
  • Partner with marketers from across the organisation to ensure we are building and executing great content for every channel 
  • Amplify the stories of our investors and entrepreneurs, helping them to achieve their goals as well as building Seedrs as a brand
  • Set a high bar for how we speak to our customers - clear, smart, engaging communication for every channel

 

What we’re looking for

Someone with 3 - 7 years’ experience in social media management, content marketing, copywriting or other related discipline, with experience or a strong interest in finance, fintech or entrepreneurship. 

You: 

  • Love writing and communicating and helping people to understand complex concepts clearly
  • Know how to create the right content for the right channel at the right time, and understand the difference in engaging an audience on Instagram vs Linkedin 
  • Love testing new ideas and take an iterative approach to marketing; you understand how to balance the art (creativity) and science (data) behind great content 
  • Understand the role that content plays in driving awareness, education and engagement across a variety of channels 
  • Can build and execute a comprehensive content strategy across a variety of channels to drive overall engagement and business performance 
  • Keep the customer at the heart of all your communications, bringing the right message to the right medium 
  • Deliver on deadlines and can balance competing priorities to drive the greatest impact for the business 
  • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the business and are comfortable serving as the voice of the customer
  • Are detail oriented, highly organised and can  manage multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency
  • MUST be eligible to live and work in the UK
